Finally, at CHA Summer '08 - Thought I Wouldn't Make It!

Yesterday at 5PM, I thought I would print out my itinerary for my flight to CHA Summer '08 (been to Memory Trends 07, CHAW08, CHAS08). Printing the flight schedule seemed like a logical thing to do. Well, I couldn't find it. So, I logged onto AmEx travel... couldn't find it. Dug through all my e-mail accounts. Nope. Turns out, I never clicked "Confirm." So, 12 hours before I need to leave, I'm on the phone with AmEx booking a flight. As I'm looking at my screen, I find the price the guy is quoting me as the "best price available" is $50 more than Expedia's. That's their best "phone" price.

Good for me, the best online price is still eligible, even if I have a guy on the phone, walking me through it step by step. And it all worked out because my new flight got me here at 9 a.m. Which was perfect.

And now, I am at I just got out of a great seminar by Claudine Hellmuth on blogging and social networking. I figured she would be able to teach me quite a bit, and I was right! She got me very excited at the chance to make personal connections with my customers and others in the scrapbooking industry. If you haven't visited her blog, you should! It's fun.
